I didn't enter either. I thought about it, but it happened to come in the middle of moving out-of-state and securing a new job and I knew I wouldn't be able to put the right kind of effort into it.

I don't think I made it unless I deleted this email by accident. I hope they send an email letting people know they didn't advance. Back to the drawing board I guess. I'll find my niche someday.

Brian, no promises or guarantees, but if you have a junk mail filter, try checking your SPAM folder. I think they were sending out the replies in bulk because the "To:" section was blank on the message that I received.

The Daily Cartoonist has a post trying to put names and urls to the comics if you want to add yourself to the list.

Amazon just posted the semifinalists for the contest. I looked through the list and recognized only Jesse Cline's excellent "Walking Upright" comic, but it wouldn't surprise me if some others on the list visit here too-- so congrats to everyone who made it!

I'm out of the contest at this point, so I've posted my comic submission over at my website if anyone's interested.

Anyone else posting their comics online at this point? It would be fun to see them all.
