Thanks for your quick reply.I guess my next question is, with the newspaper industry in the sad state that it is in, do you think the syndicates will still seriously consider new cartoon submissions?

My name is John Picarello. I've been a fan of comic strips & comic books for many years.
I drew cartoons all the time when I was in school but sought out employment in more "conventional" careers.
After all these years, I have finally decided to try to enter the medium. I've been working on my own strip, "'Til Death Do Us Part" . It's about a family of 5 & their dog, Muffin. ( Gee, I have a wife & 3 kids, & we have a dog named Muffin!)
I recently started a website, at a friend's urging, but I must admit I do not know anything about website design. I hope to improve on it as I go along.
