Well to be fair I kinda quit reading it after the ones at the job. (hence the Dilbert reference) His boss looks a WHOLE lot like Dilbert's pointy haired boss...I've seen many of the same ideas on Dilbert etc. I went back and read the rest and I ha...

I guess it's a matter of taste. It just didn't speak to me.

Is it me or did Bruni look like a Dilbert knock off? In my humble opinion the stuff posted here was a lot better and that one shouldn't have made it to top ten. I agree that of the ten Lil Wit and Thata Baby were my favorite. Counter Culture kind...

"Example: What if you thought of several support group gags? It seems like there'd be a lot of great material there. And what if the group were the same three characters, no matter what support they needed? What if grandma was one of them? I don't...

Rough Sketch, Warm Snevel

Bought a new pen and was playing around with it and stumbled upon my buddy Snevel getting ready for cold weather. Wonder if I need to get myself a new coat?

Snevel's Trek

This little story was a compilation with my friend, Glenn A. Orkusz. (his website: http://greyart.250free.com/) One day he waxed poetic about my favorite snail and I felt obliged to illustrate the tale. Enjoy:

I really enjoy using color pencils at times (other than being pushed for time and resort to doing it digitally).
What I like to do, and what I think you MIGHT enjoy, is using watercolor pencils. I'd usually add some water here and there to the drawing (over the color pencil), and once dry, define shapes further with dry color pencils on top.

I'm sure your friend wouldn't mind coming to some agreement for your snail-tale. After all, he wrote it as a joke. I think he'd be quite honored.

I dislike these less-strong points of ours. I'm also nagging for anything I can illustrate (outside of work/ workhours).
Personally, I'd love to be involved with writing and illustrating children's books. I keep begging my husband for stories. Even if it's super-short. But without any luck so far. I think it might be a different story altogether when we have children. I think I really need to understand them first to know what they'd like.

I'm dying to do something about all the fairy tales. The Happily Ever After doesn't do it for me. Is the Happily Ever After not where it actually starts? We have got to do something! I simply won't accept that all the princesses got along with their mother-in-laws'!

I'm positive Cinderella would have something to say about how the servants wash the floors!

Thanks for the chats! Looking forward to many more!

WebbWoman!

Thank you for the warm welcome. Much appreciated. I enjoyed looking at your work. Especially the snails. And the snail-tale. With a story-adjustment it could easily be published as a kiddies book. You certainly have a winner here.

I really like this comment on one of your sites: "I am probably one of the most boring people alive, but I have fun. ;-)". Got me wondering: Don't we all feel a little BORING?

Excuse this loooooong comment. Can'thelp myself.

You got some giggles out of me. Other than the snails I love the map and the maze. Very original.

I was just wondering... which medium do you use? Some uninvited comment: IF you possibly combined a little more ink and a few (just on important places) watercolor washes, one or two, would it not add a little more 'drama' to the snails? Just a suggestion.

Looking forward to chatting soon.

I'd like to see Snevel animated. I can picture him moving very slowly, yet fluidly.

Thanks, Leann. I like your snail. Now if someone could tell me how to get my profile picture to get back into frame. I hope to spend more time looking at your stuff. but I gotta go take my daughter back to college.

So where are you that the newspapers are so unenlightened?
